I have been a Movie Aficionado since my College Days. Hardly there was a Movie that we missed in our Graduation Days often making sure we make our Attendance Compulsory at the Cinema House rather than our Engg Classes.
Off late I was more inclined to catch up with the New English Flicks hanging around in Hyderabad making sure I do Justice to all the Three Genres of Movies that are mostly played in Hyderabad viz., Hindi, English and Telugu.
Recently there was a telugu Flick by the Name Happy Days which is a Story about Engg College Friends and the Camaraderie Atmosphere with Seniors ragging juniors .,etc. a typical College Film.
The Winsomeness of the Movie lies in the way the Director moulds the Characters of the Lead Pairs that you are Enthralled all about. The Film brings in the Reminiscences in Every ones Engg life where in it reflects the Fear that you Possess when you Enter into your College Campus on Day 1, the Impositions that we make for our Seniors, paying our Due Respect to the Seniors by offering them our Seats in the College Bus…..list unending.
My Most favourite Link in the Movie is where the Senior helps the junior during their Campus Placements and the Dialog where in a Senior Advices his junior “Don’t Bother about your Communication Skills .The Day I Entered the College even I was like you, Lacking Good Communication Skills…..E.N.G.L.I.S.H….But College is something that makes you learn it by the Day you move out of the College”.
As said by the Principal of the College in the movie on their Farewell “This is the End of the MOST HAPPY DAYS of your Life…..But this is also the Beginning of THE MOST PURPOSEFUL Days of your Life”
2 Years ago we were the Characters in the Movie and today We See our own Stories on Screen and Smile at them……
Definitely HAPPY DAYS ROCKS….mama life motham Jil Jil Jiga!!!!
An Adventure enthusiast trying to LIVE by the number of breaths than by number of years.

My Trip to a Rural Degree College
Last Saturday we (me and 2 others) were requested by our Colleague Mr.Varma to join him to visit his Village namely Khajipalem near Bapatla a town in AP.
The Purpose of the Visit was a Request by the Principal of that Village’s College to our Colleague .The College was going to have their Campus Interviews for the First time and they wanted some people who can give some tips to the Students as to how to prepare themselves for the College Interviews.
Being a Rural College the Students never had an Opportunity to interact with People from Corporate Companies. During the De-brief we had , the Principal explained that even though the College was an English Medium one they always explain the Subject in Telugu to the Students admitting the fact that their Faculty was also Fully not equipped with Communication Skills .
I was Amazed to see that the College which sprawled itself into an area of more than the Campus that we have at Satyam Infocity, was fully equipped with features like Library, Computer lab(all the 60 Computers that have been donated by SATYAM which were arranged with the help of my colleague Varma…..Three Cheers Varma J J ) , Gym, Swimming Pool, Cycling Track .,etc .
We have Conducted 3 Sessions – one covering the Written test part explaining them the Books to be referred to Clear their Written Test, Second Session included Group Discussion tips and Methods including Demo GD’s being conducted on the spot giving them the Inputs at the instant. The third Session after lunch included How to tackle a Personal interview Round with some Mock interviews to give them a Feel of real time Interview.
Through out the Session we maintained a Friendly Environment so that the Students feel Comfortable and ask us more Questions to help them better. The Session included a Lot of our Personal Experiences that we had and those we heard from our Friends.
The Hospitality that the College Management bestowed upon us be it the Warm reception they had for us (with a Welcome Board which goes like “resources from Satyam Computers to train our Students on Interview Basics’), be it the de-brief Session of the principal, be it the Lunch or the Signing off Session we truly spent our Weekend in a memorable way.
And the icing on the top was We were made the Celebrities of the Day when Students came to us for our Wishes (typical AutographsJ), asking us our email Ids and contact numbers.
I am grateful to my Colleague Mr.Varma for the Wonderful Opportunity he gave us ie., to become role models to the students of KVRKVR&MKR College. Hope we will have more such Sessions in the near future which is his Dream Project Bridging the Rural-Urban Gap.
And Surprisingly the principal of the 1981 Established College Called me on Sunday morning to enquire if we reached safely wherein he admitted that when he interacted with his Students after the Sessions he found that their Confidence Levels have improved and the tips we shared would provide them a good Guidance to start off with for which he Expressed his Hear felt Thanks.
In the Later part of the day I realised that this is the Village which gave Some of the Best in class Entrepreneurs like Mr. Murali krishnam Raju of Maa Tv, Mr.Srini Raju of iLabs ., etc. Also Raju and Ramu visit this College regularly which developed a bond for this College with Satyam.
With Cheers this is Vamsi Signing off.

Reality in “Reality Shows”??
It clearly seems to be the much talked show of the Season. Sony Entertainment Channels “Indian Idol 3” must have garnered enough Audience through the Show making them to stay Hooked up to the Millions of Television Sets at the Homes.
I keep Wondering at times if there is any Monitory Body or Regulatory Body apart from the Sony Entertainment Channels Management who take care in Evaluating the Authenticity of the Votes that keep on flowing in until the Last Minute.
Now I need to admit the fact that my Sister keeps on sending Messages to Vote her Favourite Singer through her Mobile (and mostly from my Mobile) and at the End of the Day she ends up sending nearly 10-15 Votes to the make her favourite Singer win the Show.
What Tickles me the most is Doesn’t it mean anything when people from the Same Mobile Vote again and again and Do they really count such Votes. At times in these Reality Shows I find the Anchors announcing to the Audience that the Audience can Vote to the Participant of their Choice any number of Times. Does that amount to a True Competition?
Sometimes it is like the Participant who could garner more votes since he/she is from a Particular region of the Country and that Region of People have more awareness of such events does that not amount to a Black mark on the Spirit of Competitiveness. Are we ensuring that the Person with the Best talent is being Recognised or is this person under the lights of Media being Frisked away from their share of Recognition.

TATA's-Making Business a tool to Improve Quality of Life….
26th August 2007 TATA Steels celebrates 100 Years of Steel Enduring as their Values. Established way back in 1907 and never Losing Sight of the Values that have been Propounded by their Founder Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata,TATA Steels continue to create Wealth and Well-being for the Communities and the Nations where they Operate.
Being Born and Brought up in India and seeing TATA Group of Industries making their MARK in every Earnest Endeavour of their Projects It was Nearly Impossible to escape this Feeling of Joy and Happiness as TATA Steels Celebrates 100 years of Existence.
The Name TATA resonates it self starting with daily Amenities like Salt, Tea Powder, Titan watches, Tata motors, Tata Cellular, Sonata Gold Showrooms,Tata Consultancy Services…to name a few.
I still remember growing up answering my Schooldays Quiz “Who is the richest Person in India”…Its TATA’s and Birla’s. And aftera few years the Ambanis.
I still keep on Wondering what is it So Unique about TATA that helped them to achieve Success?? Is it their Early venture into the Market Space ? Is it the Social Status that they derived from their Family? Or is it Sheer luck?
One can be lucky enough for 1 year or may be for 10years but for Sure you can not be a Market leader for 100 years and that too with the Amount of Competition that you face today Every fine Morning you see yourself in the Company of New market players.
It is TATA Steels Adherence to Follow Highest Standard of Corporate Governance, Delighting Customers, reinforcing the Trust that all their Stakeholders repose on them.
Wishing TATA Steels Continued Efforts to Enhance India’s Stature on the Global Stage to Enrich more Lives across the Different Communities this is Vamsi Signing off….

Chakde...oh Chakde India!!!!!!!!!!
Hello Everyone,
I had been to Chakde India yesterday….a Wonderful Movie …
Coming out of the Theatre ,After a Long time had the Feeling that It would have been very good had the Movie been a little more in Duration.Iam sure u will definitely Like it….
SRK was Amazing bringing out the Perfect Histrionics in his Acting. Whether it is the Scene where SRK and his Mom move out of their House or the Scene where SRK brings out the message ”Sacrificing the Coach for the Sake of Team Unity is No Big deal” or the introductory Scene where the Coach makes all the players realize that they are playing for INDIA rather than their respective States.
Even the New Actors Excelled themselves given the fact that none of them was a Professional Hockey Player.
I think I would be insulting the Director if I don’t give him the Credit for the Amazing Screen play ,Story and Dialogs. Though the Story of the Movie is not a Out of the Box Movie, it is the way the Director was able to keep up the Tempo of the Storyline.
May be the only SRK movie without any Flamboyanting Dressing and running after the Trees. Truly Indian Cinema needs this kind of Movies where in they lay emphasis on True Sportsmanship Qualities and Team Building Exercises Keeping up the Spirits of True Sportsman who are thriving themselves for Excellence.
Chak De India is another Good Indian movie based on the Sports Theme joining the Club of Lagaan and Iqbal.
Right ingredients and Perfect Blend of Commercial Elements and Messages in right quantity makes Chakde a Perfect Independence Day Movie….
Go ahead and watch it…Chakde….India

India is not a Great Country
“India is not a Great Country. But India has all the Ingredients that can make it a great nation”Says Mohan Bhargava (SRK) in the Movie Swades directed by Ashutosh Gowarikar
As India Completes 60years of Independence it is evident that Most of the Times we hear Hues and Cries being raised by ourselves. We often find people criticizing our Own Efforts to make India one among the Developed Nations.
Though We have not become the Supernatural Powers in this World we have definitely set a benchmark for Ourselves and Some Poor Countries and have stood as a Role Model to Some other Countries who have Overlooked our capability as an Economic power.
India has set a new Precedent in terms of Information technology Era wherein we are One among the Worlds Top Exporters list in terms of Software Services Exporter.
India is also among the Nations that has always laid Emphasis on Bringing Down the Cost of Basic Medical facilities and Bringing Medical care to the people in Need.
I don’t Say that we are the BEST in what we do today, But I want to Stress that We Strive to be the Best in whatever we Attempt to do and that is something similar to Setting up ourselves as a Benchmark to Ourselves.
As an Optimist who believes in “NEVER be MISER in CONGRATULATING yourself for your Achievements. You deserve a little more”.
Lets understand the Amount of effort that has been put in to celebrate this 60 Years of Pursuing happiness through Independent India's Excellence.
Applauding the New Beginning this is Vamsi a Proud Indian Signing Off for Now.
