I remember the Day when I passed my 10th standard there were Scores and Scores of people out there to Start of with their Counselling sessions to me as to what should I be aiming at and what should be my Goal.
My Mom used to say me “U work hard for your Tenth Standard and then you shall live happily everafter”.So taking her Word as granted I started to think OK So if I work hard for 1 year its going to be over and it will be the THE END. Hoping to reach THE END i presumably worked hard and managed to get a descent 89% in my Tenth.
Then it was my aunt who said “U work hard for two years ie., ur Intermediate and you shall have the fruits of your Hardwork at the end of your +2”. Seeing all my cousins enjoying their Life in their +2 I cursed my self for removing the So called FUN factor from my Life and began to drag my life with all my assignments and Exams(Mind you weekly twice).Atlast at the end of 2 years managed to make a Score of 91.9% and apretty descent rank to get my self admitted into an Engineering College in my City at a very reasonable FEE (To get a Seat in that College my friends had to Shell out few Lakhs.) I was dreaming of how THE END looks like.
Now it was the turn of the Society which wanted to see me as an Engineer and I had my Counselling Session from the Old lady beside my Home to the Uncle whom I used to meet at the Vegetable market Occasionally. Every one wanted me to become an Engineer citing the Acheivements that their Neices and nephews made by doing their respective Engg. And as Usual just work hard for theses Four years(that’s the Duration of Engg course) and you can Relax its going to be THE END.
So the Entire Story started off again as an Opposition Party waiting to see THE END of all the Misery and tyranny by becoming the Ruling Party. After Four long Years of Studying and Occassionally dreaming of the Forthcoming THE END managed to come out of my Graduation College with a First Class Distinction Degree , topping my college Charts and finally making a place for me in my My University Toppers List. The D day was Over so I was planning to see something called as THE END.
By the time I took the Call from my Distant Relative in USA who was obviously going to Preach me about my Future Course of Action and Revamp my Hard Work Story I had been Fortunate Enough to say to him that I had made it to an Indian Corporate during my Engg and would like to pursue a Career with tat Org for the Time Being.
The So called THE END has never been the end as they say atleast in my case. Thinking that my 10th was going to be my THE END was infact a NEW BEGINNING to some thing called as my Intermediate and hoping it to reach it’s THE END I reached the NEW BEGINNING of my Engg whose THE END was my NEW BEGINNING to my Corporate Life…and this never Stops.
It took me my 7 Years to learn that the thing called as THE END is something which opens the door to a NEW BEGINNING which ought to have it’s the END and this Cycle keeps on Continuing.
This was the Epiphanic Moment that Life has made me learn a new Lesson which epitomises the Saying that Every Ending has to have a New Beginning.
An Adventure enthusiast trying to LIVE by the number of breaths than by number of years.

Eat Ads Drink Ads Sleep Ads...
Hello Everyone,
The very sound of the word”Marketing” used to remind me of the Salespersons who keep on tapping at each and every Doorstep to sell their Products.
Or for that matter whenever there was an Advertisement on the TV amidst the news or Cricket I remember changing the Channel not able to wait for the 2-3 minute until the Ad’s message is complete.
But the Situation now is Completely Changed.
The Advertisements that keep on popping up during the Prime Time Shows are grasping the People’s Imagination.
I cant Forget the New ad of Muskuraaale….
Its Really very interesting to Watch the Ads aired by Mutual Funds /Insurance Providers.
Be it ICICI Prudential’s “Jeete Raho “where the Wife Convinces her Hubby as to why he needs to Insure
Be it HDFC ka “Na Sar jhuka hai kabhi aur na jhukayenge kabhi” where Kid doesn’t seek help from his dad/Grandpa to stand upon to his feet.
Even more interesting is the Ad of HSBC where its Customer is touted to have so much of Free time that he wanders around in his Home and even offers himself to help his House maid in Cleaning the House for which she Says NO.
Its not only the Private Firms that are coming up with Thought Provoking Ads even Public Firms like SBI with their Simple Ads with a Tinzy Humour that it brings upon our faces .
I think the Advent of Mutual Funds into Indian Market at a Break Neck pace and the Segment of people involved into this Arena., viz Software Professionals are the people who contribute to this growth in the Indian Ad industry.
