It clearly seems to be the much talked show of the Season. Sony Entertainment Channels “Indian Idol 3” must have garnered enough Audience through the Show making them to stay Hooked up to the Millions of Television Sets at the Homes.
I keep Wondering at times if there is any Monitory Body or Regulatory Body apart from the Sony Entertainment Channels Management who take care in Evaluating the Authenticity of the Votes that keep on flowing in until the Last Minute.
Now I need to admit the fact that my Sister keeps on sending Messages to Vote her Favourite Singer through her Mobile (and mostly from my Mobile) and at the End of the Day she ends up sending nearly 10-15 Votes to the make her favourite Singer win the Show.
What Tickles me the most is Doesn’t it mean anything when people from the Same Mobile Vote again and again and Do they really count such Votes. At times in these Reality Shows I find the Anchors announcing to the Audience that the Audience can Vote to the Participant of their Choice any number of Times. Does that amount to a True Competition?
Sometimes it is like the Participant who could garner more votes since he/she is from a Particular region of the Country and that Region of People have more awareness of such events does that not amount to a Black mark on the Spirit of Competitiveness. Are we ensuring that the Person with the Best talent is being Recognised or is this person under the lights of Media being Frisked away from their share of Recognition.
An Adventure enthusiast trying to LIVE by the number of breaths than by number of years.

26th August 2007 TATA Steels celebrates 100 Years of Steel Enduring as their Values. Established way back in 1907 and never Losing Sight of the Values that have been Propounded by their Founder Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata,TATA Steels continue to create Wealth and Well-being for the Communities and the Nations where they Operate.
Being Born and Brought up in India and seeing TATA Group of Industries making their MARK in every Earnest Endeavour of their Projects It was Nearly Impossible to escape this Feeling of Joy and Happiness as TATA Steels Celebrates 100 years of Existence.
The Name TATA resonates it self starting with daily Amenities like Salt, Tea Powder, Titan watches, Tata motors, Tata Cellular, Sonata Gold Showrooms,Tata Consultancy Services…to name a few.
I still remember growing up answering my Schooldays Quiz “Who is the richest Person in India”…Its TATA’s and Birla’s. And aftera few years the Ambanis.
I still keep on Wondering what is it So Unique about TATA that helped them to achieve Success?? Is it their Early venture into the Market Space ? Is it the Social Status that they derived from their Family? Or is it Sheer luck?
One can be lucky enough for 1 year or may be for 10years but for Sure you can not be a Market leader for 100 years and that too with the Amount of Competition that you face today Every fine Morning you see yourself in the Company of New market players.
It is TATA Steels Adherence to Follow Highest Standard of Corporate Governance, Delighting Customers, reinforcing the Trust that all their Stakeholders repose on them.
Wishing TATA Steels Continued Efforts to Enhance India’s Stature on the Global Stage to Enrich more Lives across the Different Communities this is Vamsi Signing off….

Chakde...oh Chakde India!!!!!!!!!!
Hello Everyone,
I had been to Chakde India yesterday….a Wonderful Movie …
Coming out of the Theatre ,After a Long time had the Feeling that It would have been very good had the Movie been a little more in Duration.Iam sure u will definitely Like it….
SRK was Amazing bringing out the Perfect Histrionics in his Acting. Whether it is the Scene where SRK and his Mom move out of their House or the Scene where SRK brings out the message ”Sacrificing the Coach for the Sake of Team Unity is No Big deal” or the introductory Scene where the Coach makes all the players realize that they are playing for INDIA rather than their respective States.
Even the New Actors Excelled themselves given the fact that none of them was a Professional Hockey Player.
I think I would be insulting the Director if I don’t give him the Credit for the Amazing Screen play ,Story and Dialogs. Though the Story of the Movie is not a Out of the Box Movie, it is the way the Director was able to keep up the Tempo of the Storyline.
May be the only SRK movie without any Flamboyanting Dressing and running after the Trees. Truly Indian Cinema needs this kind of Movies where in they lay emphasis on True Sportsmanship Qualities and Team Building Exercises Keeping up the Spirits of True Sportsman who are thriving themselves for Excellence.
Chak De India is another Good Indian movie based on the Sports Theme joining the Club of Lagaan and Iqbal.
Right ingredients and Perfect Blend of Commercial Elements and Messages in right quantity makes Chakde a Perfect Independence Day Movie….
Go ahead and watch it…Chakde….India

India is not a Great Country
“India is not a Great Country. But India has all the Ingredients that can make it a great nation”Says Mohan Bhargava (SRK) in the Movie Swades directed by Ashutosh Gowarikar
As India Completes 60years of Independence it is evident that Most of the Times we hear Hues and Cries being raised by ourselves. We often find people criticizing our Own Efforts to make India one among the Developed Nations.
Though We have not become the Supernatural Powers in this World we have definitely set a benchmark for Ourselves and Some Poor Countries and have stood as a Role Model to Some other Countries who have Overlooked our capability as an Economic power.
India has set a new Precedent in terms of Information technology Era wherein we are One among the Worlds Top Exporters list in terms of Software Services Exporter.
India is also among the Nations that has always laid Emphasis on Bringing Down the Cost of Basic Medical facilities and Bringing Medical care to the people in Need.
I don’t Say that we are the BEST in what we do today, But I want to Stress that We Strive to be the Best in whatever we Attempt to do and that is something similar to Setting up ourselves as a Benchmark to Ourselves.
As an Optimist who believes in “NEVER be MISER in CONGRATULATING yourself for your Achievements. You deserve a little more”.
Lets understand the Amount of effort that has been put in to celebrate this 60 Years of Pursuing happiness through Independent India's Excellence.
Applauding the New Beginning this is Vamsi a Proud Indian Signing Off for Now.

Google My Friend....
How often has one wondered about the Virtual Support that Google gives us in our daily Life.
In Every Endeavour that we encounter every day the First thought that we get when we are left clueless about any Issue there is always Google to help us.
In Every Endeavour that we encounter every day the First thought that we get when we are left clueless about any Issue there is always Google to help us.

If we observe there is a Keen pattern evolving in terms of Strategies that Google is developing. It’s slowly and Consistently Grabbing the market Pie from the Big-Bullys like Yahoo, Microsoft. etc.
Be it Gmail or Gtalk or You Tube or eBlogger they have been constantly Rejuvenating their Strategies and always stepping into the Shoes of their customers and Giving Customers by visualizing themselves in their Place taking the Numero Uno Position.
Off Late Google has started to partner with Sun Microsystems and Grab the Pie from Microsoft dominated market. It already includes Firefox, the No. 2 Web browser behind Microsoft's Internet Explorer, and RealNetworks Inc.'s RealPlayer, a key rival to Microsoft's own media player.
Google quietly began including Sun's StarOffice suite of word processing, spreadsheets and other workplace-oriented programs for free as part of the Google Pack download.
Google has constantly been referred to as the Most Innovative Company even in terms of Employee Satisfaction .People who have seen GooglePlex the Headquarters of Google agree that it is the Best Employee Workplace .
Keep Rocking Google!!!!Until then this is Vamsi a Real Timer Googler Signing Off.....
Headless Chicken????

“The Nuclear Deal has been approved in Washington and Indian cabinet .So why do you have all this running like Headless Chicken, looking for a Comment here or Comment there and these little Storms in a Tea Cup ”Said Mr. Ronen Sen India’s Ambassador to US.
It is indeed unfortunate to hear such Extremely Irresponsible Comments from a Person of Mr.Sens’s Stature giving an Impression of his role as an US Ambassador to India.
Now these Comments from Mr.Sen earned him the Wrath of Indian Parliamentary Members and Members of Political Fraternity where in our Opposition Parties want him to be recalled for his Intemperate remarks apart from the Belated Apologies that he Expressed couple of days back.
Taking the Cue from another Side to this Story, Is Foot in Mouth disease the Problem with Mr.Sen alone. Should we not think of a Similar kind of Uproar and Gesture when someone inside our Country makes such Unwarranted Comments when they are in a Respectable Position in the Country.Should we also recall all those people who make such Intemperate Comments?
Starting with Stalwarts of Indian Politics like Mr.Lal Krishna Advani who made Innumerable Comments upon Mrs.Sonia Gandhi at the Time of Electing a Prime Minister to Lead UPA. Should we Recall Mr.Advani from the Opposition
Don’t we have the Instances wherein Mr.Lalu Prasad Yadav (during Bihar elections), Mayawathi, Raj Babber (against Mulayam Singh Yadav and Amar Singh) made similar Comments. Should we recall them??
And I have Lost the Count how many times the Spokesmen from Congress and BJP like Mr.Kapil Sibal,Mrs.Sushma Swaraj,Mr.Arun Jaitley crib about Each other during the Primetime Shows like Face the Nation or the Nation tonight.Should we recall these Spokesmen?
Recently a Chief Minister in his State Parliament Proceedings used such a Filthy language against the Opposition Leader of the State threatening to End his Career when the Latter raised an issue which the Former was not Comfortable with. Should we recall the Chief Minister??
Have anyone of these Politicians heard something called as “A Moral Code of Conduct” that was drafted in the Indian Constitution. With the Parliamentary Proceedings going Live Is there any Denial when I Say Not even a Single Parliamentary Proceedings happen as per a Prefixed Agenda followed by Commotions, Continuous Adjournments and Walk Outs.
Is a Moral Code of Conduct required for only People representing India outside? Isn’t it required for the internal People to remember the Basic Values of Diplomacy and Statesmanship while expressing their Views??? Pondering over Such Questions this is Vamsi Signing off…..

Madam President - A New Heralding Change
It is indeed a Proud Moment for Indian Women to witness the Historic Episode in Indian Politics as Mrs.Pratibha Patil would take the honour of “First (Woman) Citizen” of India.
Her Victory (which was Obvious ) which should have answered her Critics is also Branding India in the Political Eyes of the World which so far have just heard of a Couple of names in the Political Framework of India who could be termed as Decision makers and Fortune Makers for Country’s future .
Long back there was a Lady called Mrs.Indira Gandhi who was the Prime Minister of India who was the subject of as many Controversies as her Decisions that changed the Future course of India. And then for a Long time there wasn’t any Woman Kingpin maker in Indian politics at a National level until the advent of Mrs.Sonia Gandhi.
And today yet another Distinguished Honour has been Conferred upon Mrs.Pratibha Patil by Electing her as the 12th President of Independent India. While it is indeed a Jubilant Mood across the Political Fraternity making Statements about their Victory in achieving a Milestone -- Doesn’t that Sound More Honking than Acting.
At a Time when the Country is Celebrating its 60 Years of Independence and 150th Year of First Revolution for Independent India(The Sepoy Mutiny Revolt of 1857) are we not lacking in producing (or more precisely Identifying) enough number of Women Leaders to be Emulated.
While there is certainly a Laudable increase in the Number of Women who have Empowered the Nation parallely Empowering their business, Stretching themselves to go that EXTRA mile to make a Difference in rest of the fields like Mrs.Indira Nooyi Leading the Pepsi Foods, Sunita Williams, Mrs.Kiran Mazumdar Shaw of Biocon, Dr.Shantha., etc.there is a dearth of Competent Women in the Political Arena.
When Looking this Aspect from a Different Perspective , Hopefully Mrs.Patil looks into this Aspect of Empowering more Women into the Sectors like Education, Medical, Child Care and the Social Welfare by emphasizing upon the Requirements and set a New Benchmark for the Coming Generations of Woman Leaders in the Country.
Though Mrs.Patil has come out with Flying Colours from all the Mudslinging by Winning her President ship at a Whopping 3 lakh plus margin she has to taste the Trouble Waters in the Coming Future to make a Mark for her in the Indian Political history apart from being the 1st Woman President (& 12th President of India ).
Celebrating with the Mood of the Country and Welcoming the Move of our First Woman President’s appointment I take this Opportunity to join the Millions of her Well wishers who be seek to Witness her in her New Role …..Until then this is vamsi Signing off Wishing our First Woman President Mrs.Patil a Cheerful journey ahead and Saluting to the True Spirit of Woman Empowerment.

Dream is not the one you get in sleep....

“Dream is not the one you get in Sleep but it is the one which doesn’t allow you to Sleep”-- Mr.Abdul Kalam
The Stage was Set ,the Drums were ready ,the game was over, our peoples president His Excellency Mr.APJ Abdul Kalam had to bid adieu to the country’s Honourable Position paving a way for his Successor Mrs.Pratibha Patil to wield the Country’s Megaphone now.
Hardly did anyone recognise the Name Mr.Abdul Kalam apart from his Political Fraternity and Scientific Community when he was sworn in as the president of India.
But the way he turned the Entire Image of the President of a Country in the view of Common Citizens can be termed as a Re-Evolution.
Be it his Stunning Looks or the Tender Love towards the Children that he showered upon them makes him a True National Icon in Sense and Spirit.
It was during his Tenure as the president of India that the Rashtrapati Bhavan’s gates were opened for the Children and they had the Special Invitation to join him in the events of Importance.
In all the ways possible he tried his best to live up to the Expectations of his post. He is the First President of India who being the Head of the Tri-Forces (Viz., Army,Navy and Air force) used his Powers or more aptly Stature to Make an impact by Riding in a Fighter aircraft, Travelling into the Oceans heart in a Submarine and also Visiting the Army Troops in Siachen Sector.
He also stood against the Parliamentary winds when he refused to Sign on the Cabinet Bill passed by the parliament hitting Hard onto the fact that a resident is not a So called Rubber Stamp.
Recently at a Function held at Ramnath Goenka Awards for Excellency in Media Matters, as the Discussion was being conducted with the Leading faces of the Indian Media industry both the Print and Electronic Bigwigs discussing about the Importance of media and its Primary responsibilities for which Mr.Kalam was the Chief Guest, for the Utter Astonishment of all the People the President could not control his Excitement to take part in the Discussion that he Sprang up from his Place and was sitting at the edge of the Dias and started to participate in the Discussion.
Probably he is the only president who emphasized upon the Point that Younger Generations need to Start DREAMING …it’s only through this way Vision2020 can be achieved.
Truly Mr.Kalam has set a Cat among the Pigeons by defining the Role of a President much more than the Conventional President setting a Benchmark example for his Successors.
Finally Hoping that he will be a Key Player in the Development Issues from the side of a Common man outside Rashtrapati Bhavan….This is Vamsi Expressing my Best Wishes for Mr.Kalam for his new role.

Daring ideas are like Chessmen
“Daring ideas are like Chessmen moved forward. They may be beaten, but they may start a Winning game”
At a time when most of us were on the verge of forgetting the Pride of Possessing a Radio, it has started to make its Impact to be felt by all of us. The Big Old Radio which used to be of the Size of a Medium-sized Carton Box has now been reduced to the size of a hand-held Device, Thanks to the Technology that made this happen.
It would not be an Exaggerated Statement when I say that its always far more Easier to Re-Invent a new Product than to Re-Evolve an Existing product.
Today FM Radio is a Popular Media Channel through which people are able to Voice over their Concerns and make enough Flutter to create the Disturbance required to make their Voice Heard.
The FM Radio has overreached the Audience who were being catered by Television and Print Media. Now One reason for this may be the fact that Print Media is something which doesn’t Cater to the bunch of illiterates and Television due to its lack of portability have given FM radio the path to Peoples Homes, Buses, Entertainment Spots and even Workplaces.
The very idea to create an Opportunity Space out of the White Spaces which many of the Potential and Prospective Firms could not think of gave the Early Participants their Current Stand .Be it the Case of Radio City or Radio Mirchi or Radio One or Big FM and recently launched S FM.
The Biggest challenge in a FM Radio Business is the promotion part or the Advertisements that their peers are able to Project well. I feel that FM Radios are the New mantra of innovativeness in terms of Marketing. To Sell a Product without showing it is still something which is near to impossible.
Apart from Songs that are meant to be played, FM radios come up with interesting set of Fun filled Activities that leave the Listener Enthralled.
The Recent Promotion of Voting for Taj to make to the list of Top 7 Wonders of the world was one such Active initiative.
Also not to forget the Advent of Cellular Phones into our Lives that made this Feature a part and parcel of our life.
Live Updates of News, Traffic Situations, Games ,Songs….the list goes unending.
Recently one of the FM radio Stations have also Kick Started an Educative Program to help the Student Community who face it difficult to many of the National Level Entrance Examinations.(Another Potential White Space from which they managed to create an Opportunity)
Hoping that this Transformation keeps on Happening this is Vamsi Signing off…

Can We Afford to Stand and keep Swallowing our Disbelief’s??
Like Most of the Elections that happen in India even the Presidential Elections have been made a Mockery bringing to light the fact that none of the Political parties are really interested in the Overall Up-liftment of the Country.
As usual there was NO Consensus arrived about the Candidates contesting for the Presidential Elections.
The Moment it became evident that United Progressive Alliance was in No mood to consider Mr.A.P.J Abdul Kalam’s Extension as the President of India for the Second term, soon began the talks for the Next Presidential candidate. There were many Rumours Floating around with the names of the Big-Wigs of Congress making their Foray into the race. But No one would have imagined that UPA would ever consider Nominating Mrs. Pratibha Patil as their candidate even as the Congress leaders had No clue as to what made Mrs.Sonia Gandhi to play this Pawn.
One Reason may be the immediate replacement for Mr.Kalam from her Coterie of Congress shall be a person who is a well known Person & who can influence all the sections of the Political Fraternity. There were even Speculations of casting Mr.Pranab mukherjee or for that matter Mr.Shivraj patil was heading the list of Final Contenders for the Nominations.
But Mrs.Gandhi could not risk the Future of UPA by losing these Kingpins.
Around the same time NDA started to Extend their Hearty Wishes to Mr. Bhairon singh Shekhawat to aspire for the most Coveted Post.
This might have lit the spark for Mrs.Gandhi who felt that it was time for her to Spin the Wheel and there was an Overnight Decision to cast Mrs. Pratibha Patil , Branding UPA as an Ardent Follower of Promoting Non Male Chauvinist Society.
Amidst all these Theatrical developments our Most Respected Mr.Kalam was painted as a Person who was being very keen to continue his Tenure “Expressing his willingness to continue as President if there was a Certainity”. Little did Mr.Kalam Realise that he was being Puppeted by the UNPA(a batch comprising of LOST Chief Ministers who only wanted to make their Presence felt at a National Level by their Normal Act of Split Vote bank Politics). But it was a Wise Decision taken by Mr.Kalam to resist himself from the Front Run just days after he realised that this is going to become even murkier than imagined.
Now the Universal Truth is that UPA has the Majority of Votes to elect their Candidate as the President and NDA doesn’t have the Numbers to Make the Winds to Blow in their Direction then why the Hue and Cry about this . I think that the NDA is banking of Cross Voting by Putting them to taste the Deep troubled Waters.
And today the Plight of the person who is Contesting for the presidential polls has become even more Worse with the Contestents coming onto Stage and Saying “ I Don’t want to be a President who is a RUBBER STAMP but want to be a President with more Dignity and Decorum “. If this is the Dignity and Decorum that they promise to bring in as a President , I Doubt about the real Meaning of the Words Dignity and Decorum that they mean to ..
Iam not sure as to how many more New developments take place in this Presidential Elections Race and who will be the Next President of India ….Until then Keeping my Fingers Crossed this is Vamsi signing off to Stand and Swallow MY Disbeleif’s.

THE END
I remember the Day when I passed my 10th standard there were Scores and Scores of people out there to Start of with their Counselling sessions to me as to what should I be aiming at and what should be my Goal.
My Mom used to say me “U work hard for your Tenth Standard and then you shall live happily everafter”.So taking her Word as granted I started to think OK So if I work hard for 1 year its going to be over and it will be the THE END. Hoping to reach THE END i presumably worked hard and managed to get a descent 89% in my Tenth.
Then it was my aunt who said “U work hard for two years ie., ur Intermediate and you shall have the fruits of your Hardwork at the end of your +2”. Seeing all my cousins enjoying their Life in their +2 I cursed my self for removing the So called FUN factor from my Life and began to drag my life with all my assignments and Exams(Mind you weekly twice).Atlast at the end of 2 years managed to make a Score of 91.9% and apretty descent rank to get my self admitted into an Engineering College in my City at a very reasonable FEE (To get a Seat in that College my friends had to Shell out few Lakhs.) I was dreaming of how THE END looks like.
Now it was the turn of the Society which wanted to see me as an Engineer and I had my Counselling Session from the Old lady beside my Home to the Uncle whom I used to meet at the Vegetable market Occasionally. Every one wanted me to become an Engineer citing the Acheivements that their Neices and nephews made by doing their respective Engg. And as Usual just work hard for theses Four years(that’s the Duration of Engg course) and you can Relax its going to be THE END.
So the Entire Story started off again as an Opposition Party waiting to see THE END of all the Misery and tyranny by becoming the Ruling Party. After Four long Years of Studying and Occassionally dreaming of the Forthcoming THE END managed to come out of my Graduation College with a First Class Distinction Degree , topping my college Charts and finally making a place for me in my My University Toppers List. The D day was Over so I was planning to see something called as THE END.
By the time I took the Call from my Distant Relative in USA who was obviously going to Preach me about my Future Course of Action and Revamp my Hard Work Story I had been Fortunate Enough to say to him that I had made it to an Indian Corporate during my Engg and would like to pursue a Career with tat Org for the Time Being.
The So called THE END has never been the end as they say atleast in my case. Thinking that my 10th was going to be my THE END was infact a NEW BEGINNING to some thing called as my Intermediate and hoping it to reach it’s THE END I reached the NEW BEGINNING of my Engg whose THE END was my NEW BEGINNING to my Corporate Life…and this never Stops.
It took me my 7 Years to learn that the thing called as THE END is something which opens the door to a NEW BEGINNING which ought to have it’s the END and this Cycle keeps on Continuing.
This was the Epiphanic Moment that Life has made me learn a new Lesson which epitomises the Saying that Every Ending has to have a New Beginning.

Eat Ads Drink Ads Sleep Ads...
Hello Everyone,
The very sound of the word”Marketing” used to remind me of the Salespersons who keep on tapping at each and every Doorstep to sell their Products.
Or for that matter whenever there was an Advertisement on the TV amidst the news or Cricket I remember changing the Channel not able to wait for the 2-3 minute until the Ad’s message is complete.
But the Situation now is Completely Changed.
The Advertisements that keep on popping up during the Prime Time Shows are grasping the People’s Imagination.
I cant Forget the New ad of Muskuraaale….
Its Really very interesting to Watch the Ads aired by Mutual Funds /Insurance Providers.
Be it ICICI Prudential’s “Jeete Raho “where the Wife Convinces her Hubby as to why he needs to Insure
Be it HDFC ka “Na Sar jhuka hai kabhi aur na jhukayenge kabhi” where Kid doesn’t seek help from his dad/Grandpa to stand upon to his feet.
Even more interesting is the Ad of HSBC where its Customer is touted to have so much of Free time that he wanders around in his Home and even offers himself to help his House maid in Cleaning the House for which she Says NO.
Its not only the Private Firms that are coming up with Thought Provoking Ads even Public Firms like SBI with their Simple Ads with a Tinzy Humour that it brings upon our faces .
I think the Advent of Mutual Funds into Indian Market at a Break Neck pace and the Segment of people involved into this Arena., viz Software Professionals are the people who contribute to this growth in the Indian Ad industry.
