Race is On….

During the 2day “Vibrant Gujarat” Industrial summit, Mr Narendra Modi coined a new word, “Race”- that stood for “lower Risk, Alertness of the government, low Cost and high Efficiency” for the success of Industrial sector.

Whatever may the Opposition parties say about him, I think he has been a Dynamic Chief Minister in terms of bringing Investments to State and contributing hugely to the State development in turn improving India’s GDP.

Today Gujarat is eyed as the first state for any Investment of huge scale. Given the varying factors like huge NRI sentiments, most of the gujju’s eye Entrepreneurship as a career option the Efforts put in by Mr.Modi’ to revive the sentiments is tumultuous.

He was primarily criticized for his way of dealing the Godhra Incident, but the people of Gujarat re-elected him since they belived that he was the ONE who can change things and bring in better jobs for their children, a future ray of hope.

Today except for IT, Gujarat remains the Show Stopper for any major investments inside India. Whether it is by decision or by fate mr.Modi doesn’t seem to know what does it mean by “”being Complacent”.

Gujarat attracts investments (Jamnagar the worlds biggest refinery is in Guj) as a natural destination for investors, or proves to be a better choice (Nano project moving from Singur after the crisis had many options but the best deal was struck in Guj).
